Blogging....

So last night I stayed up late to watch a movie on On Demand. My husband is gone out of town and so I decided to watch Julie & Julia. If you haven't seen this movie I highly recommend it. I had ephihany ( I think that's how you spell it) watching the show. I know that we all have goals, something to get accomplished like for me my everyday goals are to lose weight (whose isn't right?) Anyway exercise, try to eat better, write, pray, read daily. So yeah daily goals plus a dream of a long term goal. Well as she was of course blogging her daily info in the movie, I thought this movie is very inspirational for me I need to find a purpose for me. Not just to be a Mom or a Wife and a maid and of course everything else that'sin the title of MOM; but something that I really love to do for me. I love to scrap book, but it takes a lot of time of course and a lot of space, that right now time isn't the issue so much but space is so I have to do it once in awhile. But I do love to cook, I do even though at times I don't want to I do. I have set a goal for me to cook everynight (except for Friday and Saturday) so Monday thru Thursday and for the past three weeks I have done that. We have saved money not going out so much and has helped us in our marriage. But the reason I did that was to save money. Also the reason I take the weekends off is because we have a date night every Friday night, then ususally Saturday we just see what to do for dinner. Now I have a new desire I want to find something for me to do that I love that I really really truely want to do. Maybe take a cooking class, or a quilting class or I don't know. So I have been thinking that I will work on that for me continue to cook for my family everynight and do my daily goals but now I am searching for a worth while goal, that maybe I can make a little extra cash at. That would help us and especially help me. Don't get me wrong I love my family, I have a great husband and a wonderful kid who bring me lots of joy! I am very blessed to have them and all that I have. I just want to figure out something for me sounds selfish, let's face it we all need to be a little selfish once in awhile. Helps us grow. So I write this to help me get started and start figuring out what I need to do! So I hope you all have a great day, cause I know that I am going to! p.s. forgive me if I spelled something wrong. Not perfect right?

Head Bands

So this is a front and back! Not the best picture but you can get the idea!
Okay so my Mom is making these cute adorable crochet headbands. I really don't know what to call them, but if you are interested let me know she'll do them for any size and any color. I know that these pictures don't do them justice but they are really cute. So if you are interested just let me know and I'll give you details!!! Thanks!

Finally...

Okay so finally I am going to start up dating my blog. I have a ton of things to say and blog about starting with my sweet son starting school! I can't believe that he is in Kindergarten. He is just surprising me daily with what he knows! Then of course there is Christmas and how much fun that was. So soon I will add photos and comments and start being better about my blog and updating pictures. Please come back!

Catching up

Okay so I am so far behind on my updates, Zeke and I have been so busy with so many different events so I am trying to put most of it on here. I am starting with one of the latest events. We are starting with his first T-Ball game. He is on the team called the Giants!
Zeke's first T-Ball game. Here he is playing 3rd base, bored!
Third base again (I think)
Zeke learning to ride his bike without training wheels
Here he is doing good!
Mark, at our first practice game!
Zeke learning how to throw better. Looks like he's a natural!
He is learning how to catch the ball from the grounder. It was so much fun watching him learn all of this more and more!
The first meeting of the team
So much rain! Rain Rain go away! Love the moisture, but I need it to stop!
Okay so this brid we found in our driveway, drowning in a puddle and not flying. So of course I had to try to rescue it, and we all had dun holding it.
Zeke loving it, he made it the cutest picture thinking that it would help it, too bad when we woke up in the morning it had died.
So this is our first camping trip to my Dad's Steak camp property. This was definitely camping. We had problems with the water, RAIN! Let's say Rain, Rain Rain. But Zeke had so much fun. He became a Smore junky! We had smores the night before, the next day at least two or three times. It reminded me of Christmas morning with him. HE was the best! He reminded me of all of the fun I had as a kid camping and all of the fun I want to have with Zeke now he is at this age.
Ty and Zeke in our Tent! Ty loved this tent! He had so much fun also!
Zeke eating his first smore, like I said earlier he got addicted fast!
I have to admit, It's well worth all of the life decisions / challenges when you just sit back and watch your child smile over the simplest things in life.
Thanks Zeke for making me so happy and blessed!

Easter April 2009

So this Easter we were busy I felt. This picture below we were at my parent's house to celebrate four Birthdays and Easter together. We were trying to get a picture with her grand kids in and of course there is always the few who don't want to participate. I also decided that my camera sucks. I am so sick of it. I think that it would be good if it wasn't being used by me. SO out of all the pictures we took - this one turned out ok. I did take other pictures of the kids down by the fireplace in my parents home, but I still should have had Aubrey come and take the kids' picture.
Zeke and His Cousin Aleyah - they were making hollow rolls to represent the tomb from where Jesus was resurrected
Zeke and his Dad at my Uncle's House
Zeke and his Uncle Brad
Zeke and Aleyah at my Uncle Dave's house for the Annual Lubbers Easter Egg hunt!
Friday we decided to Color Easter Eggs and it was a lot of fun. I think that Zeke enjoyed it better this year than ever before. He was more willing to color and decorate. It was so much fun this year with a small group and they had lots of eggs to color.
Thanks to Jacquie, Noah, Nathan and my Mom for all there help in coloring Easter eggs. It was a blast and a lot more smoother this year than past years!!!

Happy Birthday Zeke

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET BABY BOY!!!
So last Saturday the 28th day of March Zeke turned 5! I can not believe that my baby boy is 5 years old. We had a small party at Nickel Mania with family and a few kids from his school! It was so much fun. He had a Super Hero party and I watched my own super hero kid have a great day! I am so thankful for his friends and Family that came. I love my boy and all his great imagination. He keeps me going and makes me smile everyday! Thanks Zeke for being so wonderful and for coming here to me and your Dad. We love you and want the best for you!

Bye Koda!

So last Monday, (the 30th of March) we said our good bye's to our sweet Koda! He got really sick and we had to let him go to heaven. He was pretty sick for the whole month of March and we found out that he had a liver disease. It was just too much for us at this time. Plus the doctors told us that if we did surgery, it might not even work. So we had to make a hard decision. I was one sad Momma and couldn't bring my self to blog about it. He had a very short life and he was loved by us! We will so miss him, and we do miss him. I am glad that I don't have to potty train anymore, but I miss my sweet snuggler. Run and be happy now Koda!!!
