Catching up

Okay so I am so far behind on my updates, Zeke and I have been so busy with so many different events so I am trying to put most of it on here. I am starting with one of the latest events. We are starting with his first T-Ball game. He is on the team called the Giants!
Zeke's first T-Ball game. Here he is playing 3rd base, bored!
Third base again (I think)
Zeke learning to ride his bike without training wheels
Here he is doing good!
Mark, at our first practice game!
Zeke learning how to throw better. Looks like he's a natural!
He is learning how to catch the ball from the grounder. It was so much fun watching him learn all of this more and more!
The first meeting of the team
So much rain! Rain Rain go away! Love the moisture, but I need it to stop!
Okay so this brid we found in our driveway, drowning in a puddle and not flying. So of course I had to try to rescue it, and we all had dun holding it.
Zeke loving it, he made it the cutest picture thinking that it would help it, too bad when we woke up in the morning it had died.
So this is our first camping trip to my Dad's Steak camp property. This was definitely camping. We had problems with the water, RAIN! Let's say Rain, Rain Rain. But Zeke had so much fun. He became a Smore junky! We had smores the night before, the next day at least two or three times. It reminded me of Christmas morning with him. HE was the best! He reminded me of all of the fun I had as a kid camping and all of the fun I want to have with Zeke now he is at this age.
Ty and Zeke in our Tent! Ty loved this tent! He had so much fun also!
Zeke eating his first smore, like I said earlier he got addicted fast!
I have to admit, It's well worth all of the life decisions / challenges when you just sit back and watch your child smile over the simplest things in life.
Thanks Zeke for making me so happy and blessed!

Easter April 2009

So this Easter we were busy I felt. This picture below we were at my parent's house to celebrate four Birthdays and Easter together. We were trying to get a picture with her grand kids in and of course there is always the few who don't want to participate. I also decided that my camera sucks. I am so sick of it. I think that it would be good if it wasn't being used by me. SO out of all the pictures we took - this one turned out ok. I did take other pictures of the kids down by the fireplace in my parents home, but I still should have had Aubrey come and take the kids' picture.
Zeke and His Cousin Aleyah - they were making hollow rolls to represent the tomb from where Jesus was resurrected
Zeke and his Dad at my Uncle's House
Zeke and his Uncle Brad
Zeke and Aleyah at my Uncle Dave's house for the Annual Lubbers Easter Egg hunt!
Friday we decided to Color Easter Eggs and it was a lot of fun. I think that Zeke enjoyed it better this year than ever before. He was more willing to color and decorate. It was so much fun this year with a small group and they had lots of eggs to color.
Thanks to Jacquie, Noah, Nathan and my Mom for all there help in coloring Easter eggs. It was a blast and a lot more smoother this year than past years!!!

Happy Birthday Zeke

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET BABY BOY!!!
So last Saturday the 28th day of March Zeke turned 5! I can not believe that my baby boy is 5 years old. We had a small party at Nickel Mania with family and a few kids from his school! It was so much fun. He had a Super Hero party and I watched my own super hero kid have a great day! I am so thankful for his friends and Family that came. I love my boy and all his great imagination. He keeps me going and makes me smile everyday! Thanks Zeke for being so wonderful and for coming here to me and your Dad. We love you and want the best for you!

Bye Koda!

So last Monday, (the 30th of March) we said our good bye's to our sweet Koda! He got really sick and we had to let him go to heaven. He was pretty sick for the whole month of March and we found out that he had a liver disease. It was just too much for us at this time. Plus the doctors told us that if we did surgery, it might not even work. So we had to make a hard decision. I was one sad Momma and couldn't bring my self to blog about it. He had a very short life and he was loved by us! We will so miss him, and we do miss him. I am glad that I don't have to potty train anymore, but I miss my sweet snuggler. Run and be happy now Koda!!!

Update on Zeke

So today I took him to his Pediatrician and they ran another flu swab in his poor little nose. Not to be happy for some answers, for his pain. But I felt relief, finally. He has Influenza A+. So he is pretty sick, although you wouldn't know it today. Finally he is a little happier, but thank heaven for his Doctor. I have finally decided that if there was anything wrong with my child will either wait until we can get to his doctor or it will be an immediate run to Primary Children's Hospital. Those other doctors with Insta Care or any other ER, forget it . Idiots!!! I was so frustrated leaving Saturday night. The only comfort that I had was that his symptoms weren't life threatening. (Well I hoped) I feel like even though we are quarantined for a dew days, it will all end and everything will get better! Thanks for all of you love and kind words of Support!

My poor sweet child

I know I am so mean - taking pictures of him while he is sick in the hospital! This was before they put the fluid in - they started the pick line and then drew blood then of course started the medicine later with the fluids. He was so sad! My heart just ached for him! I was so scary!
Begging to go home! Okay so last night we had a scare that a mother should not have. Zeke woke up from a nap with a fever of 106. I was so scared, so we rushed him to St. Mark's hospital (1st mistake) than luckily his fever was down a few degrees when we got there. It had dropped to 103.5. I had cool air on him in the car. So they gave him some Tylenol and Motrin and his fever only came down to 102.3, but at least it came down. So then Mark and I said we just paid $75 for them to give him Tylenol and Motrin. Well eventually, they came in and finally ran some tests and couldn't fine anything. HE was so mad, because they gave him an IV and he DID NOT like the shot of all that going into his poor sweet little arm. I was trying to bribe him, take his mind off of it. It was so hard. But finally literally we were there for 5 hours, but the ER doctor had to call the pediatrician's office and of course had to talk to the on call doctor, which he is the one who finally gave her instructions on what to do. (Another RED flag - when the ER doctor has to call someone else to find out what to do...Run) Anyway so at the end of the night poor sweet Zeke had enough and was so tired. One of the good things they did was give him fluids (that's what took the fever down to 99.9) and give him an antibiotic. So today we have been watching him like crazy and praying for him to do better. HE still has a high fever and now is in bed sleeping, but it's so hard to watch him be so sick and not know what to do. I am so thankful though for all of the love and support we have felt today (Sunday) from all of our sweet friends in the Ward. Thank you! Tomorrow we go see his pediatrician. Yeah!!! Hopefully for them to help us. I am really just grateful that it wasn't worse.
WE LOVE YOU ZEKE AND HOPE YOU GET FEELING BETTER SOON!
